Our story

A family of makers, working slowly, on purpose.

Designs by Dyer started where most family projects start — at the kitchen table. A few tools, a stack of wood, a basket of yarn, and a curiosity about how things are made. Today our home workshop turns out woodwork, 3D prints, and custom crafts, each one built by hand and with care.

What we believe

In the person of Jesus Christ, first and foremost.

Things should last. The best objects are the ones you can hand down.

Slow is a feature, not a flaw. Most of what we make takes longer than it "should" — and that's the point.

Materials matter. We use real wood, and quality filament — no shortcuts.

Crafting is a form of love. Every piece leaves the workshop made the way we'd want it made for our own family.

How we work

Every piece that leaves the shop is hand-finished in our workshop and inspected for quality before being shipped. Wood pieces are sanded smooth and oiled (unless otherwise specified). 3D prints are tested and cleaned up before shipping.

If you'd like something custom, we love that. Send us your idea and we'll work with you on materials, sizing, timing, and cost.
